I hope, as a creative, you are constantly scouring the universe for items of inspiration. Jotting them down, sketching them, clipping them, digging, stumbling or liking them, whatever your favorite method is.
Why do we do this? So we can steal them of course. Maybe we’ll modify them, maybe we’ll just blatantly rip them off. It is a fact of the world we live in. Someone comes up with an idea, the next day it is transformed into something else.
What does this mean? It means that our community relies on each other as teachers. If we keep our brilliant ideas to ourselves – they are never going to be made. Then, the next great idea might never happen.
